Skills for Food Security Service Corps

The hours are yours.

Tell us what you know, what you do well, what you care about, and what you already love to do. We use that information to explore individualized, remote ways you may be able to advance food and economic security.

Our foundational principle

Community service should not erase the individual. Whenever practical, we aim to match real Food Aid Project needs with a participant's useful skills, interests, experience, relationships, voice, and authentic enthusiasm.

Interest and pre-qualification

This questionnaire is for people interested in remote volunteering, applying professional skills, completing eligible community-service hours, supporting outreach or social media, becoming a mission ambassador or strategic connector, mentoring participants, referring candidates, or exploring an organizational partnership.

Food Aid Project may use your responses to identify possible opportunities now or in the future and to follow up when an appropriate remote project, jurisdictional pathway, outreach initiative, or partnership becomes available.

Remote-only operating model: Food Aid Project does not currently manage in-person volunteer programs, food processing, packing, warehouse shifts, distribution-line work, or event staffing. Current opportunities are remote and knowledge-, relationship-, communication-, research-, or technology-based.
Important program status: submitting this questionnaire does not create a placement, approve community-service credit, establish an attorney-client relationship, or guarantee acceptance by a court, probation office, or other authority. Do not begin counting hours unless Food Aid Project and the applicable supervising authority have approved a written service plan.
Please do not submit sensitive legal or personal information. Do not include charges, alleged conduct, case numbers, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, medical information, financial account information, passwords, or confidential legal communications.
